20593. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, when the management of a health district is assumed by the governing body of San Joaquin County, the contract shall be construed as a continuation of the district’s contract for all purposes of this part. Section 20834 shall not apply upon the execution of an agreement with the board and the governing body of the county for the assumption.(Amended by Stats. 1996, Ch. 906, Sec. 68.
