22503. The board may delegate to the executive officer authority to perform any act within the power of the board itself to perform under this part. The executive officer may delegate to his or her subordinates any act or duty unless the board, by motion or resolution recorded in the minutes, has required the executive officer to act personally.(Amended by Stats. 1986, Ch. 637, Sec. 9.)
