22779. 'Out-of-state employee' means an employee permanently assigned to perform his or her duties outside of the state. An employee is permanently assigned out-of-state if the assignment is intended to exceed four months.(Added by Stats. 2004, Ch. 69, Sec. 22. Effective June 24, 2004.)
