100020. (a) The board may remove a vendor from the registry if the vendor submits materially inaccurate information to the board, does not remit assessed fees within 60 days, or fails to submit notice of material changes to its registered investment products. Vendors found to have submitted materially inaccurate information to the board shall be allowed 60 days to correct the information.(b) The board shall remove a vendor from the registry if investments offered by the vendor are products of a regulated investment company or insurance company that is not licensed or has had its license revoked by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority or the Department of Insurance for engaging in conduct prohibited by those entities.(c) The board shall establish an appeals process for vendors that are denied registration or removed from the registry.(Added by Stats. 2012, Ch. 734, Sec. 3.
