The boundaries of Tulare County are as follows:Beginning at the southwest corner, being the common corner of Kings, Kern, and Tulare, and being located on the sixth standard south at the southwest corner of T. 24 S., R. 23 E., M. D. B. & M.; thence east, on said standard, to the point of intersection with the summit line of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, forming the southeast corner of Tulare and southwest corner of Inyo; thence northwesterly, on said summit, being on the western line of Inyo, to the east corner of Fresno; thence on the southern line of Fresno to the eastern line of Kings; thence southerly, on the line of Kings, to the place of beginning.(Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.)
