The commission shall adopt a resolution making its determination and transmit its report in writing to the board of supervisors of each affected county, within 180 days of the date of notice and acceptance by the last appointed member and shall be signed and attested to by all the members of the commission. The commission may be granted up to 180 additional days to comply with the provisions of this section, upon a majority vote of the commission and the approval of the Governor.(Amended by Stats. 1975, Ch. 1247.)
