Prior to the primary election immediately preceding the election of county officers, the board of supervisors shall prescribe the amounts of the official bonds of the treasurer, county clerk, auditor, sheriff, tax collector, district attorney, recorder, assessor, surveyor, superintendent of schools, public administrator, and coroner.(Amended by Stats. 1996, Ch. 872, Sec. 47.
