Each salaried officer of a county shall charge and collect for the use of his or her county and pay into the county treasury on or before the fifth day of each month the fees allowed by law in all cases, except those or a percentage of them allowed him or her, and those which are a charge against the county. No salaried officer who collects fees pursuant to this section shall be required to accept coin in payment of those fees.(Amended by Stats. 2012, Ch. 470, Sec. 28. (AB 1529) Effective January 1, 2013.)
