Where specifically authorized by law the purchasing agent may sell, lease, or dispose of the personal property of any special district, and pay the proceeds into the treasury of the district, or, if an exchange or trade-in is made, return the proceeds to the special district.(Amended by Stats. 1974, Ch. 543.)
