The board of supervisors may acquire, construct, repair, manage, and maintain all works necessary or proper for the treatment, purification, and reclamation of water from sewage or other waste waters, or both, and may reclaim any sewage or other waste water obtained pursuant to contracts entered into pursuant to this article, or obtained otherwise.(Added by Stats. 1959, Ch. 28.)
