On the first Monday of each month, or at more frequent intervals as may be directed by the board of supervisors, the district attorney shall account for all money received by him in his official capacity and pay it over to the treasurer upon a deposit permit issued by the auditor.(Amended by Stats. 1959, Ch. 1798.)
