Unless otherwise designated by the board of supervisors pursuant to Section 5114 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, the district attorney shall represent the county in proceedings under Part 1 (commencing with Section 5000) of Division 5 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.(Added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 1627.)
