26903. Whenever money or credits, or evidences thereof, are transmitted to the county treasurer by any state officer or employee for deposit in the county treasury or in the treasury of any political subdivision, public or municipal corporation, or district of which the county treasurer is the treasurer, the transmitter shall at the time of the transmission also transmit to the county auditor a notice stating the following:(a) The amounts of money or credits or evidences thereof transmitted.(b) The mode of transmission and the date when the transmitter placed the money or credits, or evidences thereof, in course of transmission or deposited them with the county treasurer.(c) A description of the money or credits, or evidences thereof, and the purpose for which transmitted.The auditor shall file the notices in his office and shall notify the treasurer of their receipt.(Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.)
