The recorder shall keep an index of assignments of mortgages and leases, labeled: 'Assignments of mortgages and leases—assignees,' each page divided into four columns, headed respectively: 'Assignees,' 'Assignors,' 'Instruments assigned,' and 'When and where recorded.'(Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.)
