All conveyances of real estate, except patents issued by the State as a party, made by any public officer pursuant to law, when recorded shall be alphabetically indexed in the 'Index of Grantors,' both in the name of the officer making the sale, and in the name of the person owning the property so sold.(Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.)
