No charge or fee shall be made for recording, indexing, or issuing certified copies of any discharge, certificate of service, certificate of satisfactory service, report of separation, or notice of separation of any soldier, sailor, marine, airman, or guardian, separated, released, or discharged from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, or Coast Guard of the United States, Women’s Army Corps, Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps, Women’s Reserve of Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard, or from the Army and Navy Nurse Corps.(Amended by Stats. 2022, Ch. 379, Sec. 10.
