If the board of supervisors by ordinance so provides, the salaries of all county officers, deputies, clerks, and employees, including the employees of the several road districts, may be paid monthly out of the county treasury on warrants drawn by the auditor upon the treasurer in favor of each of the officers, deputies, clerks, and employees.(Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.)
