Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, no officer or employee of a county shall be liable for any acts done by him, prior to June 2, l955, in connection with having paid the monthly salary of an employee of such county if such employee has performed, during the month for which he is paid, the duties required for the position for which he is paid.(Added by Stats. 1955, Ch. 331.)
