29430. The county board of supervisors shall establish a sheriff’s special appropriation in such amount as the board determines. In counties having a population of 500,000 or more, the board shall make available to the sheriff’s special appropriation no less than five thousand dollars ($5,000).(Repealed and added by Stats. 1969, Ch. 566.)
