The board may prescribe, by resolution, additional procedures for the audit and disposition of claims but the procedures so prescribed may not be inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, of Part 3 (commencing with Section 900) and Part 4 (commencing with Section 940) Division 3.6 of Title 1 of the Government Code, or of any other statutes or regulations expressly governing any such claims or the payment thereof.(Amended by Stats. 1963, Ch. 1715.)
