Except as provided in Section 53912, the auditor shall issue warrants on the treasurer in favor of the persons entitled thereto in payment of all claims chargeable against the county which have been legally examined, allowed, and ordered paid by the board of supervisors.(Amended by Stats. 1988, Ch. 144, Sec. 1.)
