(a) This section applies only to a county of the first class, as defined by Section 28020.(b) 'Compensation earnable' in a county of the first class shall include only those items of remuneration specifically included as a result of the court-approved settlement in (1) the consolidated cases of Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers’ Association, et al. v.
