31479.2. 'Public service' also means service rendered as an officer or employee of a department or agency of the District of Columbia for which the officer or employee received compensation and with respect to which he is not entitled to receive credit in any retirement system supported wholly or in part by public funds after he becomes a member of this system.(Added by Stats. 1976, Ch. 1476.)
