§ 31728.1

Notwithstanding Section 31728, if, in the opinion of the board, the disability is due to willful misconduct or violation of law on the part of the member covered under Section 31751, and the member’s annuity is less than two hundred forty dollars ($240) a year, the board may pay the member’s accumulated contributions in one lump sum in lieu of the member’s annuity.(Added by Stats. 1980, Ch. 58.)
