The nomination of a beneficiary under this system, other than nominations under optional settlements 2, 3 and 4, may be revoked at the pleasure of the person who made it and a different beneficiary nominated by written designation duly executed and filed with the board.(Amended by Stats. 1953, Ch. 789.)
