The board may include each year in the contribution required of a district a reasonable amount, which may differ from district to district, to cover the costs of administering its retirement system as such costs affect the active and retired employees of that district. The board may also assess a district a reasonable amount to cover costs incurred because of the district’s failure to submit reports and forward contributions on a timely basis.(Added by Stats. 1972, Ch. 545.)
