§ 31681

In every county having a population in excess of 2,000,000, the minimum retirement allowance for every member who has heretofore or who shall be hereafter retired at compulsory retirement age and who is credited with 15 or more years of service, including prior service, or at age 65 with 20 years of service, shall receive a total retirement allowance of not less than one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200) per year, exclusive of any annuity based on additional contributions. This section shall be retroactively operative as of September 22, 1951.(Amended by Stats. 1953, Ch. 843.)
