The retirement allowance shall be calculated according to the provisions of this chapter, or the California Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013, whichever is applicable, as they exist at the time of the commencement of the retirement allowance.(Amended by Stats. 2013, Ch. 247, Sec. 43.
