One member of the legislative body shall be elected by or from each district, or, if applicable, one member of the legislative body shall be elected by or from each district constituting a geographical division of the city, and the mayor shall be elected on a citywide basis. With the possible exception as to the number of members of the legislative body, the officers of the city remain the same.(Amended by Stats. 1975, Ch. 652.)
