38443. Proceedings are initiated when the legislative body adopts a resolution declaring that public interest or convenience requires the discontinuance of the use of such land as a public park, and that the legislative body intends to call a special election to submit the question of discontinuance to the city electors.(Added by Stats. 1949, Ch. 79.)
