Whenever the city attorney is acting as a prosecutor in a criminal case pursuant to any provision of law or under a city charter, the city attorney shall have the power to issue subpoenas in a like manner as the district attorney.(Amended by Stats. 2018, Ch. 467, Sec. 56.
