The responsibilities of the treasurer as provided under this article may be delegated by the treasurer to the agency, district, or department that maintains the supporting records of the unclaimed money based on the initial receipt or deposit of that money or both.(Added by Stats. 1984, Ch. 866, Sec. 4.)
