50256. If the legislative body finds that property damage was caused by the negligence of an officer or employee of the local agency in connection with the abatement of a nuisance pursuant to this article, a claim for such damages may be paid from the general fund of the local agency.(Added by Stats. 1959, Ch. 1142.)
