51005. The petitioner shall serve a copy of the petition and exhibits on the local agencies directly interested and immediately adjacent to the boundary line, by delivering the copy personally to the presiding officer of the legislative bodies of the local agencies.(Added by Stats. 1949, Ch. 81.)
