The purpose of this article is to provide relief from zoning as timberland production pursuant to this chapter only when the continued use of land in the timberland production zone is neither necessary nor desirable to accomplish the purposes of Section 3(j) of Article XIII of the Constitution and of this chapter.(Amended by Stats. 1982, Ch. 1489, Sec. 18.)
