Whenever any notice or other communication is required by law to be mailed by registered mail to or by any county, city or district, or any officer or agency thereof, the mailing of such notice or other communication by certified mail shall be deemed to be a sufficient compliance with the requirements of such law.(Added by Stats. 1955, Ch. 1668.)
