§ 53216.5

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this article and except as otherwise expressly restricted by the California Constitution and by law, the legislative body, trust, or other body, authorized to make investments for a pension trust, may invest, or delegate the authority to invest, the assets of the pension trust, through the purchase, holding, or sale of any form or type of investment, financial instrument, or financial transaction when prudent in the informed opinion of that body pursuant to Section 53216.6.(Amended by Stats. 1984, Ch. 1738, Sec. 30. Effective September 30, 1984.)
