53831. All such notes, tax anticipation warrants, or other evidences of indebtedness issued for funds borrowed prior to December 31st in any fiscal year shall be repaid not later than that date. All other evidences of indebtedness for funds borrowed in any fiscal year shall be repaid not later than May 30th of such fiscal year. Notes, tax anticipation warrants, or other evidences of indebtedness shall not be issued after December 31st in any fiscal year if funds borrowed prior to December 31st are not repaid prior to that date.(Added by Stats. 1949, Ch. 81.)
