54701.12. A local agency shall require that contractors and subcontractors engaged in construction financed under this chapter shall provide equal opportunity for employment, without discrimination as to any characteristic listed or defined in Section 12926 or 12926.1. All contracts and subcontracts for construction financed under this chapter shall be let without discrimination as to any of those characteristics.(Amended by Stats. 2008, Ch. 682, Sec. 2.
