The legislative body may accept contributions from, contract, and cooperate with, the State, any state department, instrumentality, or agency, or any municipal corporation, public corporation, or district in the construction, maintenance, and operation of, and in financing of, any enterprise and for the use of any enterprise and the services and water furnished by it for public or private purposes.(Amended by Stats. 1949, Ch. 1488.)
