§ 56865

Petitions for the consolidation of two or more districts shall be signed as follows:(a) For registered voter districts, by not less than 5 percent of the registered voters within each of the several districts.(b) For landowner-voter districts, by landowner-voters within each of the several districts constituting not less than 5 percent of the number of landowner-voters owning land within each of the several districts and who also own not less than 5 percent of the assessed value of land within each of the several districts.(Added by Stats. 2000, Ch. 761, Sec. 209.
