56882. (a) The executive officer shall transmit a copy of the resolution adopted by the commission making determinations addressed to each of the following persons or entities:(1) The proponents, if any, where the proceedings for change of organization were initiated by petition.(2) Each affected local agency whose boundaries would be changed by the proposal.(b) If the executive officer transmits a copy of the resolution using email or electronic means, the executive officer shall confirm receipt by the intended recipient through electronic read receipt or other means.(Amended by Stats. 2023, Ch. 25, Sec. 2.
