57077.6. Notwithstanding Section 57102, 57108, or 57111, both of the following shall apply:(a) For any proposal that was initiated by the commission pursuant to Section 56375.1, the commission shall forward the change of organization or reorganization for confirmation by the voters if the commission finds written protests have been submitted that meet the applicable protest thresholds set forth in Section 57093.(b) For any proposal that was initiated by the commission pursuant to subparagraphs (A) through (G), inclusive, of paragraph (2) of subdivision (a) of Section 56375, the commission shall forward the change of organization or reorganization for confirmation by the voters if the commission finds written protests have been submitted that meet the applicable protest thresholds set forth in Section 57094.(Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 89, Sec. 12.
