64711.3. (a) Except as provided in subdivision (b), each member of the board shall serve a term of four years or until a successor is appointed and qualified. A member may be removed at the pleasure of the appointing entities described in subdivision (a) of Section 64711. A member that is not an elected official shall only be reappointed for one additional term.(b) The membership of any member serving on the agency as a result of holding another public office shall terminate when the member ceases holding the other public office.(Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 661, Sec. 1.
