The State, or the city or other municipal or public corporation may be made a party defendant in such foreclosure suit, or in any quiet title suit brought by the purchaser at the treasurer’s sale or by his successor in interest. It is a sufficient service of process to serve the Attorney General for the State or the president of the legislative body for a city or other municipal or public corporation.(Added by Stats. 1951, Ch. 331.)
