66540.53. The authority may insure against public liability or property damage, or both. It may provide in the proceedings authorizing the issuance of any bonds for the carrying of such or any other insurance, in such amount and of such character as may be specified, and for the payment of the premiums thereon.(Added by Stats. 2007, Ch. 734, Sec. 2.
