66908.3. The conservancy is authorized to lease lands acquired in accordance with Section 66907.8. When the leases are made to private individuals or groups, the conservancy shall annually, upon appropriation of these amounts by the Legislature, transfer 25 percent of the gross income of the leases to the county in which the lands are located. Fifty percent of the funds received by a county under this section shall be used for soil erosion control projects.(Added by Stats. 1984, Ch. 1239, Sec. 19. Effective September 17, 1984.)
