The Placer County Transportation Planning Agency is hereby created, as a local area planning agency, and not as a part of the executive branch of the state government, to provide regional transportation planning for the area of Placer County, exclusive of the Tahoe Basin, as that term is defined in Section 66800. The agency may be known by any other name it chooses.(Added by Stats. 1994, Ch. 1103, Sec. 5. Effective January 1, 1995.)
