Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of an infraction, and upon conviction thereof shall be liable to punishment by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) upon a first conviction, not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) upon a second conviction, and not less than three hundred dollars ($300) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) upon a third or subsequent conviction.(Amended by Stats. 1983, Ch. 1092, Sec. 140.
