65040.21. Before July 1, 2020, the office shall update the guidance document entitled 'Fire Hazard Planning General Plan Technical Advice Series' in consultation with the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Office of Emergency Services, the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and other fire and safety experts. The guidance document shall include specific land use strategies to reduce fire risk to buildings, infrastructure, and communities. The office shall update the guidance document thereafter as necessary.(Added by Stats. 2018, Ch. 626, Sec. 3. (SB 901) Effective January 1, 2019.
